*This lot is a bit of a mystery - and if anyone can further ID, please email and we will post.  What we have here is an extensive run of Orig. Xeroxed Production Schedules starting 4/12/89 and ending 2/8/90 for the Aaron Russo film that began with the title PARADISE PAVED and ended with the title MOON OVER MIAMI (Foreign Title). The US title was OFF AND RUNNING. The film starred Cyndi Lauper.
*The schedules came with a play script by veteran writer, John Guare, titled MOON OVER MIAMI (The early title for the production) - The playscript is written in screenplay format, but is in 2-Acts and has "Curtain" at the end of Act 1. IMDB credits Mitch Glazer as the writer of record on this film. Perhaps Guare's play fed into the production somehow.
*The playscript is 127 white xerox pages. Script has original felt tip notes in red on Title Page and markings in the Xerox around the role of Shelly Slutsky, so this could have been a casting script. The major part of the mystery is that the playscript does not feel like the same production, although dates and title line up, and the fact the script came to us with the schedules. *HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
Off and Running is a 1991 American comedy mystery film directed by Ed Bianchi, written by Mitch Glazer, and starring Cyndi Lauper and David Keith. Orion Pictures originally had plans to give this movie a wide release but due to the company's financial problems at the time, the movie went straight to video in United States. However, in United Kingdom in was released in theaters on June 12, 1992 by Rank Film Distributors.
*STORYLINE:
Cyd Morse is an actress, but her biggest role so far is as a recurrent guest on '"Miami Vice"'. She earns her living with underwater dancing at the bar of the Eden Rock Hotel in Miami Beach. There she's approached by ex-jockey Woody; they start dating and kind-of fall in love. However it's a short luck: one evening he's brutally beaten to death in his hotel room. Cyd's a witness and gets hold of a key Woody had around his neck. She's got to flee from the murderer. Due to an accident she meets golfer Jack Connett. He can't resist her charme and helps her on the search for the lock to the key and the flight from the murderer. (IMDB/Zoemer)
