Draft script for an unproduced film, also noted under the working title "Tennessee Overdrive," though it should be noted that by the writing of this draft the locale for the intended film was changed from Tennessee to Texas.
A ex-convict looking to pay his debts teams up with a hardened trucker determined to keep his small trucking operation, in spite of violent intimidation tactics by a rival company. The two men make their way along a Texas trucking route, culminating in a shootout just outside Austin. Screenwriters Michael Scheff and David Spector were best known for the disaster thriller "Airport '77" (1977).
