Copy belonging to crew member Robert Canning, with his signature on the front wrapper in holograph ink. Orange untitled wrappers with a die-cut title window in the British style, notated as copy no. 26 in holograph ink. Title page present, noted as Final Draft Screenplay, with credits for screenwriters Ray Galton and Alan Simpson and playwright Joe Orton. 129 leaves, with last leaf of text numbered 128. Mechanically reproduced. Pages NEAR FINE, wrapper NEAR FINE bound internally with two silver brads.

Based on the 1965 play of the same name by Joe Orton. Two men rob a bank and hide the loot in a coffin at the funeral parlor at which they both work. A dark farce that examines social attitudes towards death, the corruption of police authority, and the nature of the law itself. Nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
