At a mission in the New Mexico Territory, a newly completed chapel welcomes back an elder nun from her vacation, where she is shocked to find the choir balconies have no staircase and are far too high for a typical staircase. The nuns must find some able-bodied men, willing to work hard for very little, to build them a proper staircase.
